About 12th Grade

It may seem like it happened in a flash but here we are in the final years of high school. As your child begins Senior year, we are almost at the finish life. Here are the last few steps we need to take to make sure that we finish. Remind your child to talk to their counselor and make sure that they meet all the requirements for graduation. Help make sure that all your college applications are FINISHED by early Fall. It’s important to check the deadlines of schools before applying. Remember, turning in applications early may help your child's application get reviewed faster and may qualify them for larger scholarships. Help review their applications for grammar and spelling errors. The Fall of Senior year is also the deadline for Financial Aid. Remember, just like with college applications, the earlier you turn it in, the more money you can get.  For those that are going into trade school or trying to work after high school, make sure to help review their resumes. Finally, make sure to help your child enjoy Senior Year as they take part in high school traditions, whether that’s going to Homecoming Games or dressing up for PROM. These are their high school years, and it is important to make memories.
